I'm extremely disappointed with people. I know people change. It's in their nature. Change is good the majority of the time. Changing is a part of life and it generally makes people better. The change I've witnessed in some of my friends isn't a good one. Maybe, I've changed and it's not them. Maybe I'm not able to put up with their immaturity, selfishness, self-righteousness, and this unsatiable yearning to be someone they're not.
   I know I have character flaws. I'm whiney, unsympathetic, blunt and a perfectionist. You'd think with all of these flaws that I would be more understanding of the flaws of others. However, I'm not. I don't understand why someone would bend over backwards to acheive the approval of one specific individual. It's not as if the person they're breaking their back for is in any position to better this someone. If anything this person they strive so hard to please is only going to bring them down. I do not like being around this someone anymore. It has gotten to the point that I dread seeing them.
   What makes me so sad is that this someone was a person that I cared a lot about. He was one of the sweetest people that I knew. He was willing to help out anyone. He didn't play favorites. He was Sweden. Now, the majority of the time he's stuck up one person's ass. He spends most of his time and money on this person and doesn't care that his other friends(or me anyway) are beginning to get pissed off.
   People change and it's beginning to piss me off. I know that it's selfish to want people to stay the same forever. I just want my old friend back.
